Job Description:
Leading Produce Wholesaler based in the Hunts Point Market, seeks Transportation Broker to manage our existing accounts while building new relationships.
The right candidate for the position is a motivated self starter who knows the transportation business inside and out, with an outstanding ability to quickly transform logistic challenges into solutions. Experience with maintaining “House” accounts whilst generating new business is a must!
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of transportation/broker experience
- Existing Customer and Carrier Based preferred
- Demonstrates honest and proactive communication
- A backbone for negotiating, and the ability to handle conflict

- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Ability to multitask in a busy fast paced work environment
