The Equipment Department is located in Corcoran, Ca. and we are currently seeking a Sprayer Supervisor to coordinate, assist and supervise spray operations in crop specialties such as cotton, safflower, alfalfa, wheat, and tomatoes.
Scope of Work
Collectively responsible for end to end management and delivery of herbicide, pesticide and fertilization, while ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel assigned and strict adherence to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Inspect, observe, perform, manage, maintain and deliver a high level of excellence, while contributing to the success and delivery of product. Plan and develop procedures with colleagues by evaluating soil, weather conditions, or cultivating techniques to enhance the level of product; while maintaining the integrity of the soil, environment and community.
Education, Experience and Skills Required
- Maintain accurate records of chemical usage according to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
- Assess, inspect and observe plants and harvested crops to discuss with personnel deliverables of product.
- Maintain spray equipment and instrumentation in a safe, clean and mechanically sound condition at all times.
- Qualified Applicator’s license (QAL) or Qualified Applicator’s Certificate (QAC) preferred.
- (2) year degree with significant experience in Ag related field. Preference given to applicants with related experience.
