We service the finest produce distributors, as well as specialty retailers from our warehouses in Los Angeles and Miami - where we receive top-quality produce from a network of local, national, regional and international farms.

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager in Los Angeles, CA, who will drive the growth of business.

As the Sales Manager, you are required to identify and convert sales opportunities to exceed targets and assist the organization to achieve its business objectives.

A successful Sales Manager will be a strong communicator who has extensive Sales, Customer & Product Support or Services experience, along with outstanding relationship building skills, and the ability to influence.

Requirements: 
  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in sales and negotiations
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • Analytical, detailed oriented, and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of organic produce varieties, organic growing practices, quality standards – versed in industry language, favorable
  • Knowledge of asparagus and herbs a plus
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills
  • Experience utilizing databases, including Famous software
  • Current California Driver's License
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have an excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution of strategies and plans that optimize the Company’s value proposition
  • Build strong customer relationships
  • Support the assigned customer in sales activities, and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities
  • Coordinate activities and provide leadership to drive individual sales opportunities, obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing and delivery
  • Negotiate contracts as required
  • Maintain knowledge of market pricing, market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base
  • Work with all of the required internal resources to develop specific sales strategies for assigned customers
  • Make recommendations for continued growth
  • Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline; including provision of accurate forecasting, regular updates and active engagement at pipeline review meetings
