We are the premier quality solution for year round asparagus, snow/snap peas, beans and world-class specialties, while providing our valued customers a full line or organic produce and an array of value added warehouse and logistics services from our premier East and West Coast facilities.

We are seeking a Sales Associate for our Miami, FL. location.

The Sales Associate thrives on building long-lasting, loyal client relationships, while endorsing and cross-selling new products to our existing and potential customers. This individual must have knowledge of produce. Possessing a measurable familiarity with asparagus and herbs is a definitive plus. Experience of agriculture is a significant plus. The person in this role will be responsible for both retaining existing business and ensuring renewals with the goal of expanding those customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will be adept at both communicating and navigating customer needs and working collaboratively with the Sales team. The candidate should thrive on selling a product and building relationships with customers, and engaging with vendors and growers for successful sales cohesion.

Requirements: 
  • Sense of imperativeness applicable to perishable product
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong phone and in-person presentation skills
  • Expertise in follow-up
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Shows consistent professionalism and good judgment
  • Proven sales and/or account management success
  • Revenue responsibility and experience
  • Diverse produce Industry knowledge desired
  • Highly motivated, enterprising team player with startup “get it done” attitude
  • Mobile apps knowledge and experience a plus
  • Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target
  • Knowledge of appropriate produce trading practices
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage and solve conflicts with clients
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members
  • Participate in established budgets
  • Meet time deadlines for assigned accounts
  • Completes proactive customer “good will” calls
  • Meet and/or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales and retention goals
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop business cases, presentations and proposals
  • Demonstrate positive Company positioning
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years previous in sales or sales coordinator
  • Exceptional attention to detail required and extremely organized
  • Excel skills a plus
  • Famous software knowledgeable a plus
