One of the largest individually owned companies located on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is currently looking for a fulltime seasoned Nighttime Warehouse Manager, with a solid background in fresh Fruit and Vegetables to join our team. This opportunity is available for the right candidate that knows, under the direction of the General Manager, how to coordinate the picking, packing and timely distribution of produce within our organization. Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing/operating a warehouse a plus.
- Ability to effectively lead, delegate and motivate subordinates.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be a team player and work well with others.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong people skills and scheduling abilities.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversees safe receipt, storage, retrieval and shipping of our products at night.
- Lead and supervise a team of order pickers and loaders.
- Ensures workplace health and a safety requirement is met and takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Plans the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organizes special requirements for certain stock, such as chilled goods or fragile products.
- Ensures productivity targets are met.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Communicates with the Quality Control Officer when produce or sanitation related issues are detected.
- Implement management instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
- Arrange for disposal of surplus materials.
