Growers Container Company has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Customer Services Representative with experience in the agricultural industry. You must be a problem solver, team player and have excellent time management skills.
Our facility is located in Salinas, CA. on the site of the historic Spreckels Sugar Plant.
We provide exceptional, full service packaging solutions and distribution packaging to the produce industry throughout California, Arizona and into Mexico. We deliver value to our customers through product innovation and packaging solutions.

Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in the agricultural industry working in an administrative and/or sales setting is highly desired.
- Minimum High School Diploma (no GED). Some college a plus!
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus!
- Ability to work with shippers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
- Computer literate and highly proficient in MS Office Products.
- Detail oriented with excellent multitasking skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to interact with all types of customers.
- Excellent organization and a problem solving skills.
- Order entry software experience.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain customer relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Answer and return phone calls.
- Meet and greet occasional walk-in customers at the front desk.
- Reply to customer emails.
- Process and invoice orders.
- Schedule and track deliveries.
- Inventory control.
- Keep projects on schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
