Quality Control Supervisor

We are currently looking for Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Arvin, CA.

As the Quality Control Supervisor you are responsible for supporting, implementing, improving and maintaining all Quality System initiatives.

Requirements: 
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Experience to the essential job functions is essential.   
  • Must be bilingual in English/Spanish, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of successful team building. 
  • Must have knowledge of quality assurance testing, job safety and other related duties. 
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions. 
  • Word processing and data entry skills. 
  • Ability to see a job through to completion. 
  • Ability to maintain high quality standards without supervision.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
  • Must be able to interview, train employees, plan, and address complaints.
  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.

 

 

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Provide direction and leadership to Quality Assurance Leads to assure that standard operating procedures are being followed. 
  • Oversee time clock edits. 
  • Act as the company representative to third party auditing firms.
  • Maintain an awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices and situations that can cause food contamination and adulteration.
  • Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with production and maintenance personnel.
  • Assure that all feedback given to production and maintenance is accurate, timely and consistent.
  • Develop and maintain a teamwork environment.
  • Troubleshoot and suggest solutions to quality or Food Safety problems.
  • Contribute consistently to the Operations Food Safety Committee.
  • Develop, train and assess the performance of subordinates.
  • Provide recommendations to management in relation to QA compliance and quality. 
  • Maintain product specification and food safety system documentation.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of company information at all times.
  • Participates in audit inspections, HACCP team, and others as assigned.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
