GP Graders, an Australian based company, recently crowned Australian Exporter of the Year, is a world leader in manufacturing turnkey grading solutions for the fresh produce packing sector. We are designing and delivering advanced machinery and control technologies that are revolutionizing today's fruit packing plants.

We are currently searching for an experienced and driven Sales Manager in Wenatchee, WA.

As the Sales Manager, you will drive the growth of GP Graders’ business within the US market. You will identify and convert sales opportunities to exceed targets and assist the organization to achieve its business objectives. To succeed as the Sales Manager you will be a strong communicator who has extensive Sales, Customer & Product Support or Services experience - with outstanding relationship building skills, and the ability to influence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for sales to assigned customers through the formulation and execution of strategies and plans that optimize the GP Graders value proposition.
  • Build strong customer relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support the assigned customer in sales activities, and provide assistance to the customer in identifying new opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities and provide leadership to drive individual sales opportunities, obtaining appropriate approvals for pricing and delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of market pricing, market trends, competitive actions, product needs, and customer base.
  • Work with all of the required internal resources to develop specific sales strategies for assigned customers.
  • Make recommendations for continued growth.
  • Effectively manage the opportunity pipeline; including provision of accurate forecasting, regular updates and active engagement at pipeline review meetings.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of imports/exports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment and decision-making.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Have a high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
