We have a full-time North American Warehouse & Logistics Manager opportunity located in Manteca, California.

This role’s objective is to ensure ongoing competitive advantage for the business by actively driving and taking responsible for:

  • Cost effective procurement of packaging materials.
  • Scheduling to ensure and cost effective use of packing capacity and optimal inventory levels.
  • Management of 3rd party packing to ensure cost effective delivery to schedule and
  • to specifications.
  • Management of warehousing and distribution functions to ensure control and integrity of products and timely delivery to customers.
  • Control the annual operations and distribution budget for North America.
  • Manage and optimize the use of the ERP control system and recommend improvements to further improve the control.

What do you need to be considered?

  • Deep demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: logistics strategy, distribution network strategy, distribution operations improvement, transportation management and carrier negotiations, inventory management optimization and deployment, warehouse and transportation management systems evaluation and implementation support.
  • Experience with perishable goods desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Previous experience managing support staff or direct reports.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ industry experience is required.
