Inside Sales Representative

Job Description: 

Goodness Greeness, the Midwest’s leading organic produce distributor, seeks an Inside Sales Representative to handle inbound and outbound calls to existing and prospective customers. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for soliciting orders from existing and potential customers.

Requirements: 
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communications Skills
  • Ability to learn basic understanding of a broad range of produce items including product types, region/country of origin and pack sizes (selling unit of measure)
  • Previous Microsoft Dynamics (specifically Great Plains 2010 or newer) experience a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manage new and existing customer accounts including taking orders over the phone and through fax or email
  • Work with new and existing customers to resolve problems, issues and concerns
  • Enter customer orders in software system (Microsoft GP)
  • Ensure that each assigned customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment and excellent product knowledge and follow through.
  • Respond to Inbound sales leads (e.g. Web Inquires, inbound calls)
  • Conduct cold calling campaigns to target markets and customers
