We are currently seeking a Produce QC Manager who will provide quality assurance with an emphasis on customer requirements as well as handling all produce, which includes inspection of all inbound produce to ensure company standards of quality, weight, temperature, and overall condition of product as well as the determination and rejection of poor quality product. This individual will oversee the daily inspections of produce and monitoring of all code dated items. The Produce QC Manager will also assist with training warehouse employees in the proper handling of product during the shipping process.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Organizational support – Follow policies and procedures and complete all tasks correctly and in a timely manner.
- Quality – Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve and promote quality. Provide and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Must have 2-5 years experience, and be familiar with all dealings within produce food quality inspections.
