We have an immediate need for a Midwest Region Business Manager.

This position will work closely with our seven-person marketing team to help achieve total company marketing goals and functions; particularly with Giumarra’s Midwest customer base.

Primary areas of focus include, customer account management and growth, new customer development, and execution of retail promotions.

This is a mid to senior-level marketing position with exposure to the multifaceted areas of business within Giumarra, including sales, marketing, and category management.

This is a full-time, salaried position. As the Midwest Region Business Manager you may be based in downtown Los Angeles, or remotely within the Midwestern U.S.

Requirements: 
  • Undergraduate degree - BA/BS.
  • 5+ years professional work experience, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills and a professional bearing.
  • Strong computer skills, with a focus on Microsoft Office and web-based customer portals.
  • Experience in creating and executing successful retail promotions.
  • A self-starter capable of achieving corporate sales and marketing objectives.
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Demonstrated account management and customer relations experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to work with multiple commodities and sales divisions.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Duties: 

Including but not limited to:

  • Be a key contributor to the Giumarra Companies’ growth and profitability.
  • Represent Giumarra’s products and services to customers in the Midwest region of the North American and Canadian markets.
  • Understand customers’ business drivers and market-specific challenges to  successfully identify strategic opportunities with profitable accounts.
  • Manage every aspect of a customer’s business, including category management, programs, and supply chain systems.
  • Develop and successfully execute creative, engaging consumer promotions with retail customers.
  • Ensure that Giumarra adds value as a supplier and is considered a key vendor by customers.
  • Work with and coordinate marketing functions and activities on behalf of the Giumarra Companies’ divisions; particularly Giumarra Nogales, Giumarra International Berry, and Giumarra Southeast.
  • Actively promote the Nature’s Partner brand and the philosophy of service it represents.
