Giumarra is a produce marketing company comprised of independent sales teams, each unique in product offering yet bound by a common thread of uncompromising service to our customers and growers. This sales position is responsible for providing a high level of sales, service, and product knowledge to our customers. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills and excellent planning and follow-through skills.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled produce salesperson to take our sales to a higher level and broader reach. The right candidate will have outstanding customer relationship management experience and will take pride in providing excellent quality and service.

Requirements: 
  • 2 -10 years of sales experience in the fresh produce industry (experience in Broccoli/Artichokes-plus)
  • In-depth produce industry knowledge and experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Self-starter who has the passion and determination to work hard and meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative within general company guidelines
  • High-energy and passionate about accomplishing sales goals
  • Enthusiastic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent selling skills and an ability to adapt to different customer types
  • High degree of collaboration within the sales team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Computer proficient
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Communicate with growers on procurement and market conditions
  • Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions and goals for growth
  • Inventory management including QC of arrivals and logistics
  • Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
  • Communicate with staff with daily updates
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to Mexico (occasional travel)
