Junior Sales/Sales Support Representative

Job Description: 

Giumarra is a produce marketing company comprised of independent sales teams, each unique in product offering yet bound by a common thread of uncompromising service to our customers and growers. All of our sales are backed by excellent food safety, quality control, logistical, and marketing support designed to ensure that the safest, best-tasting products reach consumers.

We are currently seeking a Junior Sales/Sales Support Representative to contribute to the growth and continued success of our business in Ventura, CA.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic. We're looking for individuals who are highly motivated to jump right in and help our growing organization. The best candidates will be personable and outgoing individuals who can bring a positive attitude to our busy workplace every day.

Requirements: 
  • Produce Industry and/or sales experience a plus          
  • High-energy and passionate about accomplishing sales goals
  • Possess a proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Self-starter who has the passion and determination to work hard and meet or exceed goals

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Handling incoming sales calls from current customers and sales prospects
  • Maintain and service existing customer accounts
  • Schedule trucking
  • Input orders with accuracy and follow through
  • Daily inventory updates
  • Seek out and develop new customers
  • Identify and analyze market dynamics and pursue new opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Team to ensure optimal customer service and support
