Job Description:
Drives company vehicle to transport and deliver products to and from specified customer destinations LOCALLY. MUST know the Las Vegas strip and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Transports product to and from specified customer destinations.
- Drives company truck to destinations, must apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations while on any/all area roads.
- May collect payments for goods delivered.
- May maintain a truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
- Maintains telephone/radio/GPS contact with supervisor/dispatch to receive delivery instructions and updates.
- May load and unload truck.
- Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues.
- All applicants are subject to pre-employment drug screen.
Skills:
- MUST have a minimum of 2 (two) years of commercial truck driving. Must maintain a violation free driving record.
- Able to lift 75 pounds unassisted. Must possess a current CDL (Class A) License along with a Medical Certificate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Inter-Relationships:
Contact with all levels of personnel within the company(s), outside customers, and vendors.
Working Conditions:
- Open availability and ability to work varied hours with early start times.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with minimal supervision.
Needed Attributes:
- Ability to make decisions both written and verbally.
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Time management, and open availability a must.
