Job Description:
Genesis Nurseries is a dedicated state of the art greenhouse facility located in Reedley, California. Their nursery facilities have been recognized, by many as one of the most advanced nursery facilities in the world specializing in citrus and nuts.
Genesis Nurseries is looking for independent sales representatives to sell their Citrus and Walnut trees into the appropriate markets to join their team in in Central and Northern California. This individual will work exclusively on Genesis Nurseries, or in conjunction with other lines or businesses they may represent. This individual will also be focused on results, and motivated to work at a high level of efficiency and be up to the challenge of bringing new customers to the business.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
- Taking it upon yourself to make cold calls and set appointments
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
- Maintaining and developing working relationships with the team
- Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
- Providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
- Must have a good working relationship with your customers
Qualifications:
- Prior Experience in selling, marketing, customer base knowledge, or other related experience is highly desired
- As well as, product experience in Citrus and/or Nut markets
- Computer proficiency, a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational & negotiating skills
- Sound knowledge of proven sales processes
- Comprehensive understanding of market conditions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
