We’re looking for a highly-motivated produce professional with knowledge of citrus and irrigation methods and systems to join our team.
As the Irrigation Department Manager you will be working from one of our Central Valley locations.
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization and execution of all tasks involved in the Irrigation Department at Fruit Growers Supply Company (FGS).
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or Ag with a background in Ag purchasing and irrigation. They will have the ability to lead and work with a wide range of people throughout our organization and our affiliates.
- B.S. Degree in Business or an agriculture-related field or equivalent education and experience related to agriculture and purchasing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform functions of a complex nature.
- Excellent computer skills—proficient in Microsoft office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Irricad/Autocad experience required.
- Budgeting and purchasing experience.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Requires effective and frequent interaction on an individual and group basis.
- Excellent Customer Service philosophy.
- Understanding of citrus and irrigation methods and systems.
- Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is highly desirable.

- Leading and planning all facets related to the design applications.
