We are looking to add a Produce Sales Executive to our team in either Miami, FL or Philadelphia, PA.

As a Produce Sales Executive you will need to be a highly motivated produce professional. You will be working with a team, which prides its self on their dedication and commitment to providing their clients the best of the best.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Candidate must bring an established customer base, maintain and grow established key customers. 
  • Develop and seek out new customer accounts by actively marketing to retail, wholesale and foodservice outlets across the United States and Canada.
  • Solicitation of new accounts through phone calls, presentations, trade shows, as well as the candidate’s existing network.
  • Collaborate with sales team on commodity growth and program implementation.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities, including program sales and spot business trading.
  • Successfully promotes a customer-focused work ethic in tune with the company’s core values and principles.
  • Maintains consistent working relationships in a rapidly changing, high pressure environment.
Qualifications: 
  • 4 to 6 years of proven direct selling experience in produce industry.
  • Strong organizational skills, personal accountability and business ethic.
  • Knowledge of the produce retail, wholesale and foodservice market.
  • Knowledge of the Perishable Agriculture Commodities Act (PACA)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Intermediate), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Intermediate).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • BA/BS degree in related field such as business, marketing, agribusiness, etc.

The ideal candidate will bring strong sales experience in the fruit, citrus and vegetable categories, such as blueberry, stone fruit, apples, pears, grapes, asparagus, snow peas, sugar snaps, and french beans.
