Due to our recent growth, we are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Miami, FL. to add to our existing team. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and assistance to the accounting manager in the areas of accounts receivable, credit and collections, and special projects, as needed.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and status on a daily basis.
- Research and resolve any billing disputes, prepare claims if needed.
- Provide weekly A/R updates and reports to management.
- Provide leadership in accounts receivable and month-end closing.
- Insure the proper implementation of controls in the areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to communicate effectively to management and outside parties, such as customers and auditors.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and projects upon management's request.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in A/R and collections.
- Knowledge of billing and collections procedures.
- Extremely detailed oriented, and organized.
- Strong commitment to customer service, and a team player.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
