Regional Sales Manager - Northeast

Job Description: 

Freshway Foods of Sidney, Ohio, is one of the largest regional fresh-cut processing companies in the United States. We are a diverse, dedicated group of people who work together to process the highest quality produce that feeds over one million people every day.

We are currently seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager – Northeast to join our team.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our Sales team and perform rewarding work within the organization.

Requirements: 
  • Previous produce industry sales experience and/or relevant education
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining customer relationships
  • History of profitable sales territory growth
  • Geographically located in the Northeastern area of the US
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated; able to be successful with limited direct supervision
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree a plus

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Acquire new business within a defined geographic territory
  • Expand business with existing customers
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Quality and other departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Submit sales reports
  • Represent the company at industry and customer food shows
  • Manage the introduction of new products to the trade in the region
  • Contribute to a positive and interactive environment that fosters creativity and growth
  • Professional interaction with customers in person, over the phone and via email
