We are currently seeking a Special Projects Coordinator at our start-up location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This is a newly created position and an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual, who is self-reliant, takes initiative and demonstrates a positive attitude. The Special Projects Coordinator will be responsible for handling multiple tasks simultaneously. As a star-up, we offer the chance for professional growth as we are an advocate of promoting from within.
- Experience in storage and warehousing (Transportation & Distribution preferred).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ability to accomplish team objectives.
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability/Flexibility (Must be able to work Saturdays).
- Ability to react quickly to changing requirements from internal and external conditions while maintaining good communication with all parties involved.
- Oversight of current programs & procedures.
- Revamping and setting up new standards of daily operational methods.
- A strong background in project management and ability to effectively identify challenges and opportunities.
- Collaborative working style that engages others to help find solutions and implement activities.
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer competency (All Microsoft office programs & Outlook)
- Experience with Produce Pro & WMS programs (Preferred)
- Experience with Transportation & TMS programs (Preferred)
