Job Description: 

Fresh Pro Inc. is located in Altamonte Springs FL and is a produce grower, shipper, broker that specializes in watermelons. We have growing operations in FL, GA, DE and MX. We service a broad group of retailers, wholesalers, processors and food service suppliers located throughout the United States and Canada.

Fresh Pro is a fast growing company with lots of opportunity and potential. We provide a warm and energetic atmosphere that focuses on quality service and hard work.

We are looking to bring on another member to our sales team that will help broaden our scope of items offered, as well as grow our customer and grower base

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a motivation to contribute to a growing business. They will be detail-oriented and able to analyze changing market factors, and have a comprehensive understanding of the fresh produce supply-chain.

Requirements: 
  • 3 - 5 years of produce sales experience.
  • Strong verbal and electronic (email, text, IM) communication skills.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Knowledge of PACA Trading Guidelines and common practices.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and general adeptness with computers.
  • Ability to maintain organization in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict and stress in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work remotely after normal business hours.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Responsible for sales, planning, allocation, projections, materials ordering, inventory, buying and selling.
  • Responsible for marketing product and maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers in an effort to market the Company's product(s).
  • Achieve budgeted sales volume objectives, market penetration, and average sales price by product, and ultimately contribute to company profitability.
  • Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions and goals.
  • Grow distribution and placement in both new and existing accounts.
  • Develop and communicate strategies to grow market share and customer base.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support.
