Job Description: 

Forever Fresh is owned by Growers who need a straight and “on time” feedback from their customers. Growers know best when it comes to how their fruits perform in the market and so to better prepare them for the future, they have come up with a unified idea – to provide their end-consumers direct access to the very farmers or suppliers themselves, giving them the ability to see and be informed everything about how fruits are planted, grown, harvested and delivered to their doors. Their vision is to offer growers and their clients the best fruit shipping and sourcing experience possible.

We are currently looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team in Moorestown, NJ.

As the Director of Sales and Marketing you in charge of all sales activities, departments and personnel involved in Sales and Marketing for the Company. You will provide leadership for the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals. You will also work with the President in executing company standards and plans. 

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in produce sales; possess a hands on management approach, strong team leadership abilities, and an innovative mindset.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field.
  • Retail Accounts experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a sales management capacity in the produce industry.
  • Must have good understanding of mass markets with EDI systems to drive a growing business.
  • Knowledge of inventory systems with perishable products is highly desirable; strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
  • Famous Software knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
  • Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
  • Oversee all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing.
  • Develops, or participates with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the Company.
  • Directs department(s) to achieve objectives established in the Company’s Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinates sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company.
  • Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.
  • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
  • Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables. Monitors A/R aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with Credit Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager/Controller.
