Director of Supplier Sales

Job Description: 

We are seeking a world class Director of Supplier Sales to help elevate and articulate the value of FoodLink to leading strategic agricultural and food processing prospects, and to drive enterprise-wide sales of cloud-based software solutions focused on food production and the supply chain.

This is a career-making opportunity for the right individual. We need an exceptionally talented team player who understands both enterprise software and the food production industry. The position requires strong communication and collaboration across with FoodLink’s Sales, Marketing, and Product Management teams.

Requirements: 
  • Ability to build & maintain senior executive relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Expertise in SaaS/cloud-based software and the latest related technology
  • Significant knowledge of production agriculture and the food industry’s supply chain operations
  • High energy and extremely motivated to succeed in a growth company
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Leverage existing relationships to acquire key accounts in the agriculture and food processing industries
  • Build a robust sales pipeline by developing and managing a list of strategic targeted accounts
  • Understand the competitive landscape to identify any & all potential sales opportunities for a given region
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for multiple products/services
  • Take on additional sales goals as new products/services are developed and brought to market
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales records and forecasts in Salesforce.com
  • Contribute as a key business leader in internal discussions on how FoodLink can continue to innovate and grow its business
  • Advocate the FoodLink brand to existing customers and the general marketplace
Education: 
  • BS/BA (graduate degree preferred)
