Job Description:
Epic Produce Sales is a provider of fresh produce in all major growing areas of Arizona. Not only are they a provider of excellent quality produce, but also a provider of superior customer services with honesty and integrity. Ensuring that they meet their customers’ expectations by providing the best product at the best available price.
We are currently seeking a Broker who is an industry expert with a book of business to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This individual will be responsible for providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- New Business Development
- Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
- Seek to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
- Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
- Handling procurement from vendors
- Manage logistics of produce shipping areas
- Providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
Qualifications:
- Prior produce experience in sales, 3-5 years highly desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent, preferred
- Prior Logistics experience and knowledge, preferred
- Computer proficiency in Word and Excel
- Critical thinker with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
- Comprehensive understanding of market conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
