This role will entail supporting the development of new product concepts, marketing strategies, commercialization roll-out and on-going market analysis of new products. The best candidates for this position will offer us superior presentation, communication and writing skills, along with an understanding of our target customer and product vision. A high-energy multi-tasker with strong analytical skills will fit right in!
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience and knowledge of social media platforms and Microsoft Office.
- 1-3 year(s) of experience in the fresh produce industry, a plus.
- Team player with the ability to partner with others to effect solutions.
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to adjust to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Detailed proof reading skills a necessity.
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Problem solver and solutions provider.
- A passion for fresh foods and meal preparation, a plus.
- Ability to lift and/or move 25lbs.
- Full time hourly position. Occasional weekends required.
- Possibility for occasional overnight and/or weekend travel.
- Support marketing team in execution of marketing strategies and messaging that supports Duda’s products and services.
- Assist in the progress of the product development lifecycle, and escalate if necessary to ensure deliverables.
- Support Product Development Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure Team success.
- Develop and execute on-going communication strategy across various platforms including website(s), conventions, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.), internal B2B blog, and trade advertising focused on both external and internal customers.
- Help facilitate participation in multiple trade shows throughout the year.
- Assist in managing social media and customer/consumer outreach platforms.
- Help develop and design sales and marketing materials and communications. Mailing of POS collateral to sales force and broker network.
- Maintain an up-to-date library in SharePoint of our sales materials and marketing tools.
- Research of consumer trends and taste preferences for both retail and foodservice product lines.
- Assist in developing strategies and tactics for our products and services, including streamlined communication and messaging.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
