Job Description:
Duda farm Fresh Foods, Inc., is a leading grower, packer, processor, and shipper of fresh fruits and vegetables headquartered in Florida. We are now seeking for a Maintenance Technician for our Oxnard California Plant.
This position will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Execute completion of assigned work orders and perform pre-operational inspections as directed by supervisor.
- Support Sanitation and Quality Control Departments with master sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; completing requisitions and turning forms into management for order placement.
- Provide support to internal customers; Production and Quality Control departments.
Qualifications:
- The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma preferred with a minimum of one or more years in automated packing equipment maintenance technician.
- Formal training in electronic related field preferred. Strong communication skills in English and organizational skills are required.
