We are currently searching for a Celery Production Management Associate in Belle Glade, FL.

As the Celery Production Management Associate, you are responsible for being the front-line leader for your team. You are also responsible for managing the land and water resources. You will have the ability to learn our production processes and work with other departments to ensure that the production process runs smoothly.

Requirements: 
  • 4 year Bachelor of Science degree in an agricultural major
  • 1 year of agricultural experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
  • A good working knowledge of PC’s, internet, MS Word, and Excel
  • Post hire - pass company physical/drug screen, and background check

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Supervise a small team of operators
  • Assist in growing existing crops
  • Analyze soil and leaf conditions to determine when to use application methods
  • Manage crops/ensure that they are meeting company standards 
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Ensure that all quality control and food safety regulations are being followed
  • Ensure that equipment is in operating condition
  • Review employee actions and respond as necessary
  • Perform weekly payroll duties, and planting/spray schedules
  • Make necessary recommendations as need to help improve performance
