Job Description: 

Located in Columbus, OH, DNO Produce is a wholesale/distributor who offers innovative, creative and cost-effective, bulk wholesale, fresh cut products and custom packaging. DNO stands behind our products and labels, Freshealth and Freshealth Kids. We strive to offer easy, convenient and nutritious snacks to schools, grocers, wholesalers and foodservice distributors.

We are currently searching for a Second Shift Production Manger to become a part of our team in Columbus, OH.

As a Second Shift Production Manager you are responsible for overseeing the operations of our Freshhealth products. The right candidate will have a back ground in food production and know how to schedule employees for optimum proficiency. They will lead by example and create a work environment that encourages team work and comradery.

You must be able to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and a half day on Tuesday.  As the Second Shift Production Manager you will be working from 12:30pm till 10pm.

Salary will be based upon experience and knowledge.

Requirements: 
  • Degree or background in food manufacturing preferred. 
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment, hours and responsibilities.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in food production industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative management style and excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in food safety, consumer safety, and employee safety.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Scheduling all necessary employees to assure successful production. Guide, train and communicate effectively with all new hires and employees. 
  • Assuring all production needs are met before ending production on 2nd shift.
  • Committed to Food Safety, GMP’s and total quality with all of our products.
  • Assuring all equipment is running properly and at peak performance
  • Coordinating all raw materials into Freshealth and all finished product out to WH2
  • Documentation, coordination and communication to all necessary supervisors, managers and business leaders
  • Sense of urgency and engagement to the business needs.
  • Provide Leadership, expertise and continuous improvement to the Operations process.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws such as OSHA, FDA and USDA.
