We are currently searching for two Maintenance and Facilities Technicians to join our team in Columbus, OH.
As the Maintenance and Facilities Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that all our industrial equipment is in good repair and running. The right candidate will have field experience working as an industrial mechanic and possess an understanding of all phases of maintenance. Basically we need an all-around knowledgeable person in the industrial world.
We need a Maintenance and Facilities Technician present during all hours of production. Production hours run from approximately 4:30am-9pm and will be split into two different shifts of eight hours with the possibility of some overlap.
Salary will be based upon experience and knowledge.
- A year in the field or preferably education of industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of relay logic, electrical and electrical control circuits.
- Some PLC experience.
- Mechanical ability with gearboxes and mechanical components.
- HVAC is a plus.
- Ability to read meters, schematic diagrams, blueprints, rules and other measuring instruments.
- Must comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Must comply with GMPs and Food Safety rules.
- Performs regular preventative maintenance service on industrial equipment.
- Perform automated equipment diagnostics and repair, installing lights and lighting systems and HVAC.
- Perform any fabrication, welding, elementary plumbing, air-plumbing and hydraulics, as needed
- Install new equipment.
- Makes modifications to equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Repair trucks, forklifts, hand dollies, gearboxes and drives.
- Basically an all-around knowledgeable person in the industrial world.
