Supply Chain Operations Coordinator (Produce)

Job Description: 

The Supply Chain Operations Coordinator will support our core fresh produce procurement functions including contracting, food safety, pricing, and quality management efforts. General responsibilities will include contract administration, preparation of reports and correspondence, statistical analysis and data tracking. This person will also provide backup administrative support as needed, including data entry and answering incoming phone calls. For the right candidate, there will be opportunities for growth and career development.
This individual will work closely with and report to the Operations Manager, however will also collaborate with other team members on an ongoing basis. He or she must possess a collaborative nature and be comfortable working on teams for a vast majority of projects. A highly motivated and positive attitude is essential to this role as working within this industry can often be demanding and challenging, with priorities sometimes shifting at a moment’s notice.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 5 Years general office experience which includes 2 years professional experience in one of the following areas: project coordination, data analysis, procurement, finance, supply chain services, produce industry
Skills: 
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of proficiency with Excel: comfortable with Pivot Tables, Vlookups and complex formula creation
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral, with experience in preparing formal written business reports
  • Experience managing workload with several overlapping deadlines and a variety of tasks
  • Utilization of resources to generate effective solutions based on available information
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines and take ownership and accountability for issue resolution
  • Strong organizational skills with complementary proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
