Job Description:
DFI Marketing is currently seeking a full time Sales Coordinator in the San Joaquin Valley.
DFI Marketing is a year round grower/shipper/importer/exporter located in Fresno, California. We are one of the largest Melon Marketers in the State of California. We also handle Cherries in April and May and Citrus from November until April.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Daily sales and customer support
- Help answer multi-line phone system in a professional & courteous manner
- Send customer passings and help monitor the replenishment of orders
- Sales order entry into Famous V6
- Completing EDI transactions on ITrade, Foodlink, Retail Link, etc.
- Assist in monitoring and confirming the accuracy of ALL orders
- Assist with inventory monitoring to ensure all orders are covered
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment
- Track any rejected product and help finalize settlements
- Create daily reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned and needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly motivated and a self starter
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Knowledge of Famous V6 very helpful
- Attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Excellent customer service and phone skills
- Prefer experience with ITrade, Foodlink, Retail Link
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and resolve any issues quickly
- Good data entry/keyboarding skills
Education:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of college and 5 years of work experience.
Miscellaneous:
- During the peak season (Jun-Oct) this job will require overtime and Saturday hours
