Produce Assistant Manager

Job Description:

The Davis Food Co-op is in search of an experienced Produce Assistant Manager who wants to share creative talents with a thriving upscale grocery store. The successful applicant will have hands-on abilities to manage a customer friendly produce department.

The Davis Food Co-op started in a Davis living room in 1972, and has grown into a successful full-service food cooperative, owned and operated by over 9,000 local households. In a town of 65,000, that is quite a percentage of the population! We've operated at 620 G Street since March of 1984. In 1990, we were able to buy our building. We have renovated and remodeled several times, and in 2015 we "reset" the Grocery aisles. We are now on the verge of resetting (refreshing, renewing, revitalizing) our Wellness Department.
