Job Description:
This position represents the marketing arm of a consumer & customer focused organization and is a key support element to the regional teams across Datepac Sales and Marketing. Qualified candidate will be an excellent strategic thinker; creative & analytical problem solver; superior written, spoken and presentation skills; hands on, result oriented; attention to detail; self-starter and initiator; ability to adapt well to a continually changing environment; team player, superior organization, planning and prioritizing skills, vendor management experience
Position Reports to:
Marketing Manager
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage Promotional Authorization Request process, keep accurate records and cross check new requests
- Maintain and update marketing collateral material including sell sheets, master presentations, POS
- Maintain packaging / label logs, including all updates / changes
- Provide support for outside sales force
- Assist with company events and support internal marketing programs
- Maintain promotion budgets for corporate and individual regions
- Support and organize all internal aspects of customer specific promotional activity
- Approve and process all sample requests
- Execute all logistics and samples for approved regional trade shows
- Participate in bi-weekly sales calls with sales and marketing management
- Review all regional manager expense reports for accuracy
- Create regional monthly scorecards
- Maintain Datepac Sales Team intranet, including all updates
- Create weekly sales report
- Ensure accuracy of all customer invoice deductions, provide backup when needed
- Support New Product Development process as directed by Marketing Manager
- Work synergistically with Customer Service Representatives with team assignments
- Perform other duties as assigned by Marketing Manager
Educational & Job Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor Degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years’ Marketing experience
- Good listening, patient, attentive, clear verbal and written communication skills, builds strong relationships, shares information & ideas with others, flexible/open minded, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback and handles constructive criticism professionally
- Adapts to change, is open to new ideas, takes on new responsibilities as required, handles pressure well, time management skills
- Meets commitments, works independently, accepts accountability, handles change, sets high personal standards, stays focused under pressure
- In-depth knowledge of customer service preferred
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- High-degree of proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Outlook.
- Be positive, open, flexible, and able to respond to customer demands on short-notice
