Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maximize your existing procurement and sales relationships by leveraging our commodity, customer, and regional diversity
- Manage and expand existing customer accounts, including wholesale, retail, and food service accounts
- Seek out and develop new customers and grower/shipper relationships
- Manage a team to formulate and execute day-to-day sales of program and market-driven accounts
- Collaborate with existing sales team on customer and commodity growth, pricing strategy, and program implementation and planning
- Maintain sales targets and category growth
- Support growth of complementary divisions nationwide
Qualifications:
- Prior produce sales/procurement/logistics experience dealing specifically with strawberries/blueberries
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Keen analytical skills with the ability/comfort to make sound decisions and problem solve
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Personal accountability
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong business ethics
