Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develop, manage and coordinate the company’s marketing plan, advertising and promotional efforts.
  • Conduct market research to determine market trends, needs and requirements for existing and future products.
  • Develop, promote and market new products to increase value added sales.
  • Implement and execute marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Proactively create opportunities for additional products with new/existing customers.
  • Promote and market products and company brand to ensure profitable growth and expansion.
  • Determine and manage the marketing budget.
  • Create marketing presentations.
  • Adequate, maintain, develop, coordinate, and publish print, web and social media marketing.
  • Attend industry functions, exhibits and shows, and make customer visits to promote and market our brand and products.
  • Sustains rapport with key retail/wholesale and foodservice accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them.
  • Produce reports to monitor results
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fresh produce industry.
  • Experience dealing with retail customers.
  • Creative and innovative ideas to market products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Formal presentation skills.
  • High organization and planning.
  • Focused on strategic thinking.
  • Constant travel required to sales presentations, customer visits and industry functions.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required.
