Job Description: 

We are a successful grower, packer and shipper that is proud to say we have a unique product that is the best in their category. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Regional Business Manager who will need to be based in Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL or Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit to drive our business forward and to open up other avenues that we have not yet delved into. This person will have strong retail relationships from the Carolina's to Louisiana to Florida.

The responsibilities for this individual will be to develop and implement strategic account plans aligned with division and corporate objectives and to manage key aspects of customer support for all company brands including distribution, promotion, pricing, and merchandising.

Requirements: 
  • Minimum of five years CPG sales experience, preferably in produce.
  • Experience managing brokers at both headquarter and retail.
  • Working knowledge of customers and brokers in assigned territory.
  • Strong computer skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Basic internet research skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced, results oriented atmosphere.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Create, execute, and monitor annual sales plan for all key accounts in assigned territory.
    • Assume ownership and accountability to build and track customer specific strategic plans. 
    • Secure approval of annual plans from Division Director prior to customer presentation.
  • Prepare presentations and attend account calls to present compelling fact based strategic selling story.
    • Utilize syndicated data, general market trends, account databases, and local market knowledge in conjunction with corporate developed templates to prepare top tier account presentations.
    • Deliver account presentations directly to key decision makers with complete understanding of data and strategic objectives.
  • Manage the assigned broker network to compliment company's direct selling effort.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to broker headquarter account representatives.
    • Track, analyze and manage broker retail teams, providing retail priorities, and executing retail incentive programs as approved by Division Director.
  • Work closely with company's customer service team to resolve any issues with assigned accounts.
    • Resolve any pricing issues to guarantee 100% match between processed purchase orders and actual invoices.
    • Work directly with assigned customer service account representative to resolve any shipping / logistic issues.    
  • Prepare, populate and submit various business tracking templates to report sales progress and results to date versus key objectives.
    • Developing account level forecasts and monthly projections.
    • Document activity in Excel for pricing, promotion and new item approval
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year college or university.
