Territory Training Supervisor Position – Sacramento, CA

Our client provides technology and creative services to the lottery and gaming industry and is searching for a Territory Training Supervisor to join their team in Sacramento.

Summary:

This person will serve as a liaison between the Lottery customer and internal Corporate Training and Marketing teams to deliver technology based solutions for training. Responsible for all marketing activities within an assigned jurisdiction including but not limited to, development of retailer training program, management of Field Marketing Representatives, general marketing support including the planning and implementation of Lottery retailer conferences, and special events. This role requires a person who can operate in various situations with a high level of visibility and maintain a positive company image.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides reviews and feedback of current training program to identify improvements.
• Interacts with senior executives, internally and at the Lottery to evolve of retailer training program.
• Works with Corporate Training Division to  identify new training technologies and brings those training enhancements to the California Site.
• Works closely with the Lottery to develop content, create scripts and facilitate delivery of video training program.
• Serves as a liaison between the company, Lottery officials and retailers to provide effective and satisfactory customer support service.
• Conducts train the trainer sessions and trains retailers.
• Monitors retailer training to ensure that training standards are maintained.
• Tracks monthly training metrics.
• Assists with the development and production of all training materials including retailer training manuals, equipment reference guides, and retailer sell sheets- coordinates with Lottery and graphic designer on content, edits, and production of materials.
• Works closely with Bus Development Director to develop annual retailer conference program.
• Assists with planning and logistical support for statewide program launch events.
• Serves as point person for all projects as assigned, including attending project team meetings, updating timelines, developing schedules, training materials and written marketing materials.

 Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in training and at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience delivering technology based training tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with retail (grocery) chain stores a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Clean driving & background – company car provided!
