Job Description:
We provide technology and creative services to the lottery and gaming industry. As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing insights, analytics and ideas to our customers in retail grocery to assist them in driving profits. You will work with a cutting edge business development marketing team providing business consulting services. Your primary focus will be in optimizing distribution across 21,000 California retail locations. Specific duties will include:
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Research and product development support
- Product performance analysis
- Assessing ways to drive effective and efficient selling practices at retailer locations
- Providing on-going distribution review and analysis
- Determining best store configuration through analysis and pilot recommendations
- Providing ROI analyses
- Field and retailer surveying
- Gathering industry research: best practices and new practices
- Assisting in implementing and assessing success of new distribution pilots
- Supporting the customer’s product development research and initiatives
- Providing retailer incentive plan ideas and sales incentive plan recommendations to customers to increase their revenue
- Other marketing, sales and analysis functions as required
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Skills:
- 5 - 8 years Marketing, Research or Analytics experience in the consumer products, beverage, or Gaming/Casino categories
- Excel expert
- Possess a mix of creative and analytical skills. (A Problem Solver)
- Possess a track record of forging strong relationships with clients
- Ability to deal with and interpret some ambiguity
- Other skills: Good writing, communications, organizational and decision-making skills
- Self-starter and self-managed
