Job Description:
We are a produce wholesaler/shipper that specializes in specialty produce. We are rapidly growing, with a great work environment and a dynamic team made up of produce professionals.
We are currently looking for an experienced Produce Receiver/Shipper in Los Angeles, CA.
As a Produce Receiver/Shipper you are responsible for maintaining control and accuracy of all paperwork dealing with shipping and receiving. You are also responsible for ensuring that team members are following shipping/receiving standards and working as effectively as possible.

Requirements:
- Experienced in both mainline and specialty produce.
- Have a good working knowledge of fresh herbs and specialty greens.
- Experience and knowledge with USDA grades and standards is needed and you will be encouraged and supported to expand your training and education in this area on an ongoing basis.
- Must be able to teach our team members to better receive, pull and ship our products is a key element of this position.
- Have excellent communication and training skills.
- Working hours are flexible and varied, as you will be working with our staff on various shifts, to help bring our receiving and shipping team members up-to-speed and on the same page, so that our model of excellence is applied throughout the entire work day and week.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist in processing shipping and receiving documents.
- Answer phone and hand radio to answer questions, direct traffic, give directions, etc.
- Prepare incoming and receiving paperwork with pallet labels.
- Greet and process truck drivers.
- Place documents in its proper destination.
- Ensure that team members are trained and understand their job duties.
- Keep the workplace a safe and functional environment.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
