Inside Sales Executive

Job Description: 

A highly successful produce grower/shipper and marketer is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Executive to join our expanding team in southern California. We're looking for someone who has previous experience and a proven record in produce sales. 

Compensation/Salary: 
DOE
Requirements: 
  • 4 - 6 years of produce sales experience is required for this position
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Establish and develop a customer base
  • Solicitation of new accounts
  • Seek to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets  
  • Provide sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
  • Successfully promote a customer-focused work ethic in tune with the company’s core values and principles
  • Maintain consistent working relationships in a rapidly changing, high pressure environment
Education: 
  • A 4-year degree is preferred but not required
Skills: 
  • Excellent communication skills -- written, verbal, interpersonal
  • A positive, professional attitude with the ability to take initiative
  • Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
  • Basic computer skills
