Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Inventory Clerk on the Central Coast of California. This individual will maintain daily inventory of non-perishables, raw product and finished goods. Maintain and order the necessary items to ensure that the facility does not run out of given materials.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Inspects incoming items to ensure what was ordered is received.
- Takes appropriate corrective actions when ordered items do not arrive.
- Communicates to all necessary parties what the inventory levels are on a daily basis.
- Assists with the set-up and implementation of inventory management.
- Manages inventory of all non-perishable packaging materials.
- Helps with the management of raw product and finished goods.
- Helps with rolling the warehouse inventory in Axapta
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications, notably MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint.
- High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Axapta.
- Minimum of 2 years Inventory Management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
- Ability to drive a lift truck / fork lift a plus
Physical Demand:
- Required to operate a computer for extended periods of time.
- Physical effort required (ability to move 50 lbs. from one area to another).
- Exposure to extreme heat and cold environments.
Work Environment:
- Fast paced office setting next to a warehouse environment.
- Must be capable of multi-tasking and communicating with a variety of people and personalities.
- The warehouse itself is a cold storage environment and its temperature is kept in the low 30’s.
- Noise level in the warehouse varies and at times and can be loud.
- Smoke-free work environment.
