Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Agriculture areas.
  • Prior Management experience with operating and production processes.
  • HACCP knowledge and experience.
  • Food Safety Plan Management experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Manager/Leader of people.
  • Computer and technology literate for business analysis and inventory monitoring responsibilities.
  • Flexible schedule as to hours needed for production staffing activities.
  • CA Driver’s license for business transit and operations needs.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Manage the forecasting and daily production of inventory to meet delivery requirements for clientele, seasonal and in house sales.
  • Pursue acquisition and development of an Inventory Management system to improve current inventory management activities.
  • Ensure proper storage and rotation of all inventory, products and supplies. Ensure proper tally of all inventory items for management and logistic needs.
  • Manage current production staff to handle both full time and temporary staffing needs as seasonal needs occur.
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance program concerning product areas of flavor, taste, gift and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance Programs.
  • Develop and maintain Food Safety Programs.
  • Maintain sanitation, cleaning schedule and needed records to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Assure employees and procedures comply with State and Federal regulations. Oversee all certification programs, host third party auditors, regulators and visitors that visit the facility.
  • Assume responsibility of product receiving and shipping daily as required.
  • Maintain security of the production facility and yard storage.
  • Communicate with senior stakeholders and management about matters of production and operations on a routine basis and maintain the transparency of operations through documentation as needed.
