Job Description: 

We are looking for a hard working dedicated person to fill our position of Maintenance Logistics Manager. Our company provides maintenance  for over 1,000 different pieces of equipment ranging from harvesting machines to pickups. We operate 24/7 from Salinas, CA to Yuma, AZ. As the Maintenance Logistics Manager you’ll be managing and coordinating the logistics of the managers of traveling and non-traveling mechanics along with parts/inventory managers and office personal.

Requirements: 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and travel as business needs including business calls on off hours
  • Must be Bilingual
  • Prior knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and logistics
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations
  • Excellent organizational & negotiating skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Ability to analyze information, make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and lead an ever-changing work environment
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership
  • Ability to interact effectively and appropriately with subordinates and management and be a team player who can motivate the staff and work well under pressure
  • Develop and review established maintenance schedules to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible
  • Maintain and control inventory levels
  • Coordinate the hiring and training of all  maintenance personnel
  • Analyze workforce requirements
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all team members
  • Hold regular safety meetings and, as needed, staff training sessions
  • Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment
  • Work with office personal to ensure the proper and timely input and reporting of information and payroll activities
  • Develop, implement and meet financial budgetary guidelines including Responsible for maintaining facility and grounds to company standards and guidelines
  • Extensive traveling required
