Sales Executive - McAllen, TX

We are currently seeking a high energy, self-motivated Sales Executive who will focus on new business development and grow market share with existing customers for our McAllen, TX office.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify new sales opportunities through lead generation, targeted calling, trade shows, business directories, Internet web sites and other sources.
  • Grows market share with existing accounts.
  • Develops and nurtures strong relationships with key account decision makers.
  • Keeps track of inbound product, deliveries, and inventory levels.
  • Maintains complete and accurate records off all sales and customer databases.
  • Works with other sales offices to coordinate sales efforts.
  • Follows up on customer claims.
  • Travels to other sales offices, customer locations, and trade shows as required.
  • Effectively works with the sales team, procurement, operations and other service functions to maintain superior customer service and maximize sales revenue.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years direct sales experience, with emphasis on developing new accounts.
  • Proven record of season over season sales growth.
  • Experience in negotiation, strategic business development, customer acquisition and retention
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly to customer needs; resolve situations in a timely manner.
  • Follows policies and procedures.
  • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.
  • Supports Organization Goals and Values.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Education:

  • College degree or equivalent related business experience
