Job Description: 

Coast Produce Company is a family owned business that has been in the produce industry for over 55 years. We procure and distribute fresh fruits and vegetables to retail, foodservice and government customers. Our marketing and merchandising team prides itself on innovation and creativity, superior customer service and exceptional sales results.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our marketing team in Los Angeles, CA. 

As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for working with the Sales team on developing and refreshing the Coast brand. You will also be responsible for marketing our new product lines, sales promotions and special projects as they arise.

You will need to have strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage numerous projects under tight deadlines, and work well in a high paced, team oriented environment.  You will also need to have strong knowledge of Adobe Suite software, and be able to design and create on an individual basis to present to the team.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 3+ years applicable experience
  • 2 years + experience in graphics, point of sale, and packaging design
  • Experience with Mac Operating Systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as basic web design/programming
  • Proficient communication skills (verbal, written, grammar and spelling)
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet all deadlines
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn new things
  • Travel as needed
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Participate in developing brand identities and brand strategies for Coast product lines and Coast brand
  • Work with Sales/Procurement to develop product lines and assist in artwork development for labels/bags
  • Assist in creating the marketing plan for the brand
  • Create content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn)
  • Manage the Content Management System software platform (Wordpress)
  • Measure and monitor website performance metrics (Google Analytics)
  • Create customized account specific collateral materials to support the Sales Team
  • Create retailer specific playbook and promotional calendar
  • Develop and execute the trade advertising calendar
  • Plan and execute Trade Shows and Conventions
