We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Union City, CA.
As the Operations Manager you are responsible for directing all activities in the facility necessary to operate and support a warehouse at maximum efficiency. You will perform a variety of management, administrative, as well as physical functions to ensure the timely and accurate loading and unloading of commodities that transit the warehouse. You will also collaborate in working with the team and staff to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and controls are maintained within the warehouse and subject to continuous improvement. You must be able to maintain a firm hand of all aspects of operations and maintain an effective balance of communication between management and all warehouse personnel. We are 24-hour operations with peak hours from midnight to noon.
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing top customer service and support while maintaining a strong team-oriented work environment.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of operations /Operations Management experience
- Must have produce industry experience
- General knowledge of modern warehouse & inventory practices
- Ability to plan & supervise the work of others
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with associates, customers, and vendors
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & aptitude to learn new software applications
- Forklift & Pallet Jack Certified Preferred

- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Assist with daily execution of mechanics, purchasing, logistics and interface with related departments to provide the most efficient and effective daily execution possible while being mindful of cost.
