Classic Salads LLC, has an exciting opportunity for an In-house Sales Representative in Watsonville, CA.
Classic Salads is a leader in the production and distribution of gourmet baby leaf lettuces. We grow, process and ship our value-added baby leaf salads in both food service and retail throughout North America. Known best for our food service products, we moved into the retail sector in 2010. We pack in our "Classic Salads" label, as well as various private brand labels.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ of experience in Product Foodservice and/or Retail sales.
- Must have a good understanding of produce distribution channels.
- Knowledge of inventory systems for perishable products.
- Possess strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work in a close team atmosphere.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- Periodic travel.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation:

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage a customer base.
- Daily phone interactions with customer base, including order entry, discussion of product availability for both products purchased regularly and items complementing our customers own product line.
- Promptly resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions.
- Daily reconciliation of Brokerage, Commissions, etc. as it applies to the customer.
- Maintain EDI systems, including iTrade and Foodlink.
- Manage your book of customers A/R’s.
- Develop new business for the company on all product categories.
