Job Description:
Classic Salads, LLC grows, processes and ships their value-added baby leaf salads to both food service and retail businesses throughout North America. We have an exciting opportunity for an In-house Sales Representative in Watsonville, CA.
The In-house Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- Managing a customer base.
- Daily phone interactions with customer base, including order entry, discussion of product availability for both products purchased regularly and items complementing our customers own product line.
- Promptly resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions.
- Daily reconciliation of Brokerage, Commissions, etc. as it applies to customer.
- Maintain EDI systems including iTrade and Foodlink.
- Manage your book of customers A/R’s.
- Develop new business for company on all product categories.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Foodservice and/or Retail sales.
- Must have a good understanding of produce distribution channels.
- Knowledge of inventory systems for perishable products.
- Possesses strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work in a close team atmosphere.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
- Periodic Travel.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
