Opportunity to execute and improve the following areas:

In this role the successful candidate will become responsible to oversee the hiring, developing, and managing the performance of receiving associates.

Daily management of the receiving team which includes schedules, time off requests, coaching, and training.

Actively confirm accuracy of receiving documents.

Collaborate with the Logistics Manager on inbound deliveries.

Efficiently develop, recommend, and implement cost-reduction programs.

Manage the WMS to identify inbound products for tracking and traceability.

Collaborate with the procurement department regularly on quality issues, shorts, damages, and other receiving errors.

Conduct regular department huddles. Communicate company news, problem resolution, and safety initiatives.
Competencies, Education, and Skills to be Successful:

High school diploma (or GED equivalent) and recent, successful experience in a management role in a manufacturing or distribution operation

At least 1 year Food Service distribution experience performing all of the above functions,

Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office and common email systems,

Valid state driver’s license.
